The method
How the low-moisture process gets the dirt out
Dirt in carpet doesn't sit on top. It settles low in the pile and clings to the fibers, which is why vacuuming alone never brings a gray lane back. Our cleaning solution goes on in a measured amount and loosens that soil where it has settled.
Next, the machine works absorbent cleaning pads across the carpet. The pads soak up the loosened soil and pull it up out of the fibers, and the technician swaps in fresh pads as often as the room needs. On a heavy lane that can mean many pads, and each one shows you exactly what came out of your floor.
Because so little solution goes in and the soil comes out with it, nothing sticky is left to attract new dirt. That's why our customers typically go about three times as long between cleanings as they would after a traditional steam cleaning. Is a low-moisture clean really a deep clean?
Yes. Depth comes from the pre-treatment, the dwell time and the agitation; soaking the carpet adds nothing but drying time. The solution releases soil down near the backing, and the cleaning pads soak it up and carry it away. You can judge the result yourself: every used pad comes off the floor dark with what was in your carpet, and the technician keeps changing them for as long as they keep coming up dirty.

How soon can we walk on the carpet again?
